Interacting Guest OS through VM Console

Hello,

Is there a way to access Guest OS console and input keys ? I have a Guest VM on freebsd and I want to call a utility by accessing the vm console as SSH is not enabled at that point.

Has anyone found a solution to send keys or interact with VM console?
