Extracting VM guest performance metrics

Hi all,

I am new to VMware environment and my learning is on-going. One of my tasks that we need to do is to extract historical cpu and memory utilization for one of our VM guests in our cluster. If I go to our VCenter server, then go to Performance tab of that particular guest, I can see upto 1 year of performance metrics data. Unfortunately, there is no right-click -> save as feature on this screen.

However, if I try to use the Report -> Performance and choose even just 3 months of data, I am getting the "No performance data to report for selected objects" error.

I believe PowerCLI have capabilities to extract these information from the historical VCenter database, but after scouring through Google results, I can't find the specific script that will help me extract these metrics and put them into CSV/XLS file. Anyone can point to me where I can get a PowerCLI script to get this information that I require? Thanks in advance for your help!
