Is there a way to configure DRS to run only on certain days or timeframe? vCenter does not have this feature at this time but maybe thru a script (powershell)? Anyone have something to share?
ex.
ONLY RUN;
M-F FROM 6pm to 7am
Sat 1pm to Mon 7am
sDRS has something like this, we have sDRS on manual mode (ex. for adding new VM's/disks). Was creating too much SAN replication. Maybe they add this scheduling feature to the normal DRS in 5.2.
Anyway, hoping a Powershell script or other could enable the DRS then disable via Task Scheduler.
